Easy Dice Mind Reading

Ask a spectator to roll a dice and add the top and bottom number of the dice after they have finished you will tell them the sum that they have came up with. What most of people don't know is that whenever you add the top and bottom numbers of a dice the sum will always be 7.

Crayons Mind Reading

EFFECT: The magician will be able to identify the color of the crayon that the spectator choose simply by holding the crayon behind his back and not looking at it.
MATERIALS: You will 4 or 5 crayons.

METHOD: Give a spectator the 5 different crayons and turn your back so you can't see. While you can't see ask the spectator to choose any crayon, put it in your hand, and hide all of the other crayons so you can't see them. Now turn around while your hands are behind your back scape the crayon with your thumb so a piece of the crayon will stick to your nail. Bring the hand that you just scraped the crayon with in front of your body and up towards the spectator's head as if you are trying to read his mind. Take a look at your thumb's nail and you will find a piece of the crayon sticking in their. The rest of the trick will be just presentation you can reveal the color of the crayon in any way you want.

Seperating Pepper

EFFECT: The magician shows a container of water have some pepper in the surface. The magician asks the spectator to put his finger in the container. When the spectator puts his finger in the container nothing happens but when the magician puts his finger all of the pepper spreads apart.

MATERIAL: You will need a container of water has some pepper in the surface, and soap.

METHOD: Put some some in your finger. Then ask the spectator to put his finger in the container when he puts his finger in the container nothing will happen. But if you placed the finger that has soap in it the pepper will spread apart.

Magnetic Matches

EFFECT: The magician shows a box of matches he opens the box and shakes it to show the spectator that there is matches inside. He turns the box of matches upside down but nothing falls of. The magician snaps his fingers and the matches fall.
MATERIALS: You will need a box of matches.
METHOD: Take one match out of the box and put across over all the other matches so they won't fall. To perform the trick show the box and shake it so every body will know that there is matches inside. Open the box and turn it upside down nothing will fall because the matches that you putted across will hold the other matches. To make the matches fall just squeeze the box.

Mentalism With Vegetable

EFFECT: The magician asks a spectator about 10 easy math problems. Like 2+2,8-5,3x3, etc. Then the spectator writes down a name of a vegetable and asks the spectator to name a vegetable. When the magician shows his prediction it matches the name of the vegetable the spectator said.
MATERIALS: You will need a pen or pencil, and a piece of paper.
METHOD: To perform this trick write on one side of the piece of paper carrot and celery on the other side of the paper. Start by asking the spectator the 10 easy math problems. When ask the spectator to name a vegetable most of the time they will say carrot if they did not name the carrot the second chance is they will say celery.

Smoke From Fingers

EFFECT: The magician shows his hands empty and just by rubbing his fingers together smoke starts to rise out from his fingers. When the magician is done he shows his hands empty again.
MATERIALS: You will need a box of matches, and a steel plate.
METHOD: Cut off few of the brown ends where you usually strike a match. Burn them on the steel plate. After they have burnt a green powder will be left. Take some of the powder and put it in your thumb and pointer finger. To perform this trick show your hands empty the green powder will not leave anything in your fingers that anyone can see. When you rub your pointer finger and thumb together smoke will rise from your hands.
TIP: When the brown stuff have burnt let them cool for a few minutes so you don't get burn. Wash your hands after you finish performing the trick ( for your own safety).

Floating Needle on Water

EFFECT: Challenge your friends to balance a needle on the surface of a glass of water without it sinking. Of course they will fail and you show them how it's done.
MATERIALS: You will need a needle, a tissue paper, and a glass of water.
METHOD: Start by taking the tissue paper and putting it gently on the water. Let it float. Place the needle on top of the tissue paper lightly so it does not sink. A few minutes later, the tissue paper will sink into the water, and amazingly the needle will be left floating on the water.

Freezing Water

EFFECT: The magician pours some water into a cup, he blows on the cup, and turns the cup upside down. When he turns the cup upside down some ice cubes fall down.

MATERIALS: You will need a cup that you can't see through, a small sponge, and some ice cubes.

METHOD: Prepare the cup by putting the sponge into the bottom of the cup. Drop a few ice cubes on top of the sponge. To perform this trick show the spectator the cup making sure that he can't see the sponge, and the ice cubes. Start by pouring a small amount of water into the cup, blow on the cup, and turn it upside down so the ice cubes will fall.

TIP: Don't pour a large amount of water into the cup because the sponge may not absorb all of the water.

Vanishing Milk

EFFECT: The magician takes a cup of milk and pours it into another cup. After the magician finishes pouring the milk he turns the cup that the milk got poured into upside down but nothing comes out of it except a white silk.
MATERIALS: To do this trick you will need, cup of milk, an empty aluminum or plastic cup does not show what's inside, a white silk, a squared sponge, a piece of hard plastic that can fit into the aluminum or plastic cup.
METHOD: Place the piece of plastic into the middle of the aluminum or plastic cup. Then place the squared sponge into one side and the white silk into the other side. When you are ready to perform the magic trick pour the milk into the side where the squared sponge is , and turn the aluminum cup over. When you turn the aluminum cup the milk will not get poured into the flour because of the squared sponge. Now all what you have to do is pull the white silk from the other side of aluminum cup.
